Cape Town based author Pam Black has been writing books for the past 25 years. The A-Z of Factory Shops, now in its 11th edition, was her first book and became an overnight best seller. She is also the author of several other successful books, including Senior Citizens’ Money-Saver, How to Survive the School Holidays and The really useful WEDDING BOOK for South Africa.
In 1996 Pam launched the innovative Celebration House, a resource centre situated at 14 Protea Road in Claremont, which offers free information and advice to those planning functions of every kind, from weddings to twenty-firsts.
Since 2002 she has been actively involved each year in promoting South Africa as a wedding destination at The National Wedding Show in London, where the informative booklet Under African Skies – a guide to weddings and honeymoons in South Africa.
