Pam Black has compiled nine editions of the best-selling The A-Z of Factory Shops, and is also the author of several other successful books, including the Senior Citizens' Money-Saver, How to Survive the School Holidays and Let's Celebrate - a guide to weddings and other special occasions.

In 1996 Pam launched the innovative Celebration House, a resource centre which offers free information and advice to those planning functions of every kind, from weddings to conferences.

Celebration House is conveniently situated at 14 Protea Road, Claremont, Cape Town.

Pam, who is married to Malcolm, has two sons, Tim (married to Sarah-Jane) and Nic (engaged to Sue). She lives in Bergvliet, Cape Town.
